Mini Waffle Recipe

Mini Waffles are little waffle treats prepared with a small waffle maker. They aresimilar to the little version of normal waffles with some smaller gridpatterns.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray ormelted butter for greasing the waffle iron

Instructions
 

  • Heat the mini waffle maker according to the instructions of the manufacturer.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg, add melted butter, milk and vanilla extract. Mix them together.
  • Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Avoid overmixing, it’s fine in case of any lumps.
  • Use melted butter or cooking spray to grease the waffle iron.
  • Put the batter on the waffle maker, make sure to not overfill. Close the waffle maker and cook the mini waffles according to the instructions of the manufacturer until golden brown. It may take around 3-4 minutes.
  • Carefully take out the mini waffles from the waffle maker and repeat the same for the remaining batter.     
  • It’s time to serve the mini waffles with maple syrup, whipped cream, fresh fruits or chocolate sauce.
